Connecting Future Shipping Talents with the Industry
Around 80 ambitious young talents with an interest in shipping gathered at this year’s Trade Event hosted by Danske Rederier to gain insight into educational pathways and career opportunities within the Danish maritime industry.
For us, the event was a valuable opportunity to engage with future talents and giving insights into what a career in shipping looks like. Marie Sophie Koed and Gaynor Simick represented WECO, sharing their experiences and meeting potential future trainee candidates.
The program included:
- A dynamic panel debate driven by questions from the students
- One-on-one conversations with industry representatives
- The highly engaging TRADE GAME, where participants worked with real-life scenarios and negotiated contracts
